We have some great news to share with you today, as we can confirm that Julian Smith and Jimi Ball of The Alternative Board Derby have been made patrons of the East Midlands Chamber.
TAB Derby has operated since March 2010 and worked with businesses across a broad number of sectors, including retail, marketing, manufacturing and accountancy, and training companies.
In a response to the news, East Midlands Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “I am delighted to welcome TAB Derby into patronage. Chamber patrons are a powerful force in influencing policy, driving economic growth and development and equipping smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future.
“TAB will bring to the Chamber skills and expertise to complement those of the other patrons to evolve something which is, together, greater than the sum of its parts.”
Julian Smith, owner of TAB Derby said: “This is a really big step for us and we are delighted to have been able to become a patron of the Chamber. Having worked with Scott and the team over a number of years, we are well aware of the fantastic support and help Chamber members receive.
"We look forward to adding even greater depth to its offer."
The Chamber now has 28 patrons, including Nottingham Forest Football Club, Santander, East Midlands Airport, PKF Cooper Parry, QDOS, The Money Shop, Toyota Manufacturing UK, Westfield Health and Wilko.
