I have a passion for business, particularly solving problems, improving performance and helping business leaders reach their full potential.
I joined the Institute of Directors in 2001, and was awarded their Diploma in Company Direction in 2003. I am also a qualified management coach and mentor with the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Prior to starting my own company in 2011, I was Chief Operating Officer at NEL Fund Managers, the North East’s most active business investor. I hold a First Class Honours Degree in Physics from Manchester University.
My particular expertise lies in the areas of: strategy formulation and implementation; leadership; fast growth; people management; team building; project management; continuous process improvement; raising finance for business; and buying and selling companies.
With over 25 years of business experience, and having served as a Director for more than 15 small and medium sized companies here in the North East, I know the issues and challenges you can face as a business leader. But equally I can help you identify and seize the great opportunities you have.
If you need someone to help you get focussed, resolve challenges, and achieve your goals, give me a call.
How does TAB differ from a traditional business coach and mentor or small business coach?
A traditional business coach may concentrate on improving your sales, sorting out your HR or helping you with your finances. However, that’s often where it ends. The TAB process in Newcastle still works on those things, but we’ll start with you, the business owner, as a person.
