Business Advice You Can Count On
As a business owner, sometimes it can feel like you’re on your own. But getting business advice from a different perspective is invaluable for meeting the challenges of business ownership. This is where we have seen our advisory boards make a real difference. The other TAB members around the table provide the inspiration, expertise and accountability needed to take your business to the next level.
How do the advisory boards work?
Imagine what a difference it could make to you and your business if there was somewhere you could go to talk openly about the challenges and opportunities that you face in running your business.
TAB allows you to meet with around half a dozen non-competing business owners each month. It’s the same people each month so they really get to understand you and your business. They don’t have any vested interest so will give you business advice and share their own experiences to help you run your business even better. Every month you bring an issue or opportunity to your board to work through with the other business owners.
Are advisory board meetings just like other meetings?
It’s a common frustration among business leaders that executive meetings can drag on without any clear sense of direction or purpose. But at TAB, we do things differently. There is a lot that business owners can learn from each other’s advice.
Your local TAB Facilitator will chair the board meeting using a specific formula to ensure that the board is productive and valuable for every member.
“Since joining TAB I have made some good friends who laugh and cry together, which is testament to how strong the bond of the Board is. The different skills and diverse range of businesses on our Board means you get such a variety of views to help you see things from a new perspective. I couldn’t be without it.” – Rob Watson, Owner of PH9 Ltd.
